*gasp* I'm a spam blog!

Everything should be hunky dory. Dorie. Dorey. Hunky whatever in two business days.

This is why I don't blog.

"Blogs engaged in this behavior are called spam blogs, and can be recognized by their irrelevant, repetitive, or nonsensical text, along with a large number of links, usually all pointing to a single site."

I guess I'm nonsensical and irrelevant. :(

Since some people are impatient . . .

I'm posting an update.

But without pictures, because my computer isn't reading the SD card properly. And it will probably be all over the place random and have a million spelling errors in it because Mitzie is going back and forth between loving on Jeff (playing Warcraft) and me (trying to blog).

The things we have done lately include:

  • visiting Mt. Hood and walking through 8 feet deep snow, uphill both ways, in the rain AND the snow to see Mt. Hood from Trillium Lake only to get to Trillium lake and find out that the rain and snow made it impossible to see the mountain.
  • finding and buying dining room chairs, so we've been able to eat at our dining room table that we've had for 6 months for the first time this past week
  • buying a mattress and set for our guest bedroom
  • decorating the guest bedroom with pictures for the "headboard", bedside tables & lamps & a bookshelf to clear out the closet
  • hanging up aaaaalllll of the pictures that we had sitting in our guest room still packed in boxes
  • bug hunting for an Amazing Lady
  • sending my father in law on a dog transport with a bunch of other Amazing Ladies
  • taking all of my finals and definitely have one A, should have another A and hopefully will have a third A
  • organizing our lives (at least the lives that live underneath sinks and in pantries)
  • ordering some custom curtains from etsy to cover up underneath our open sinks to hide our newly organized lives
  • hanging up two birdfeeders on Tuesday (I'm mentioning the date so I remember) to entertain the cats (when the birds come; they seem to be taking their tweet time and now I'll know how long it takes for a bird to take it's tweet time finding our feeders)
  • buying me my very own smart fortwo cabriolet
  • finding a super great deal and buying a Nikon D40 which should be here on Tuesday
  • killingclovers :(
  • trimmingup my aerogarden
  • discovering a new fabric softener that is super cheap and environmentally friendly and a recipe for homemade laundry detergent that is also super cheap and environmentally friendly
  • celebrating St. Patrick's Day with yummy Shepherd's Pie
There. Happy now, impatient people? :)

Totally Unhelpful

I was cuddling Summit today in the bedroom. She was all flopped on her back in my arms like a baby. She was happy and petting my face like she does when she is getting good cuddles. And then she stopped. And stared at the ceiling. And started waving at the ceiling.

There was a spider on the ceiling. So we ran away. Summit was miffed because I wouldn't take her bug hunting. I was miffed because the spider was right above my spot on the bed and I wanted to take a nap.

I paged Jeff (because naps are very important business!).

I said:

"Halp! Spider! I want to take a nap and it's right above my spot in the bed. :'("

He replied:

"Go away spider."

I answered:

"Sometimes you are not very helpful. *glares*"

And he had the nerve to say:

"I did the best I could. . . "

And then he came home for lunch and woke me up from my nap in the sunshine on the floor with the monstas. And that was my day.
